Your new replacement french doors can be manufactured with double glazed or triple glazed glass units.  We use a range of high-performance glass solutions from Pilkington UK and Saint Gobain.  Our internally soft coated K glass offers excellent thermal insulation as the heat bounces off the glass and back into the internal living space.

In some cases we will add Argon Gas to the double glazed units.  Gas is denser than air, which results in greater energy efficiency and a lower u-value.

With all our french doors, we will instinctively upgrade them to include toughened glass. Toughened glass is achieved by subjecting the unit to a heating and cooling treatment whereby high compression stresses are set up at the surfaces with balancing tensile stresses in the centre.  It’s primary benefit is that if broken, the glass breaks into none sharp pieces to reduce the risk of being cut by sharp broken glass.

If you’re aiming to improve security or achieve excellent noise reduction, Windoor Online Limited can offer acoustic laminated glass from Pilkington. The desired performance is achieved by combining various thickness of glass with a special polyvinylbutyral interlayer.

We strive to offer you the best price for your new french doors however we will beat any genuine like for like quotation.
